ABOUT · परिचय

A question is where literature begins.

PRASHANCHINHA · 2026

An independent, bilingual literary magazine for readers and writers who remain curious about language, life and the world around them.

01

For a new generation, with an old devotion to words.

Prashanchinha began in New Delhi in 2021 with a simple question: could contemporary writing in Hindi and English sit at the same table, without treating either language as translation or appendix?

Today, the magazine is a literary conversation between New Delhi, London and Paris. We publish emerging voices, translation, formal experiment and criticism that keeps curiosity alive.

01

Bilingual by nature

Beyond translation: the freedom to think in and between two languages.

02

New voices first

The strength of the work matters more than age, access or reputation.

03

Editorial rigour

Thoughtful editing, candid feedback and deep respect for every writer.

Every language holds a world. Literature begins when those worlds begin questioning one another.
